Bakugo is working hard to redeem himself
The young hero wants his hand to be a reminder of his commitment to change
During the final battle with All For One, Bakugo was one of the heroes who suffered the most damage at the hands of the villains. Not only did he receive a near-fatal wound, forcing the hero Edgeshot to use his body as a thread to prevent his death, but also His arm was almost destroyed. This left him in a critical condition, a condition in which even the best doctors in Japan could not completely cure him. When the war ended, Bakugo was told that his hand would never function properly.
Instead of allowing medical staff to give him a prosthetic hand to help him overcome this struggle, Bakugo chose physical therapy. Katsuki has never been known for taking the easy way out, but he often appears to have a deep fear of not being stronger than others. His willingness to turn down an aid that could help him in his daily life shows how much he has matured. Although Bakugo is still rude and stubborn, he no longer acts condescending or aggressive, even accepting the nickname Deku gave him.
Katsuki seems to want a fresh start, one where his hard work is what brings him benefits in life, rather than his status as someone with a powerful Quirk. Since apologizing to Deku in chapter #322, Katsuki has put in a lot of effort to become someone worthy of being called a true Hero. He will have to work harder than ever to reach the level he was at before, but he seems to be aware of this and willing to push through it.
Bakugo still regrets the way he treated Deku
Bakugo still hasn't forgiven himself
Even though he apologized to Deku, Bakugo still felt guilty for all those years of bullying his best friend. This becomes clear in the conversation between two young men in chapter #424. When Katsuki realized that Izuku had lost all of his Quirks, he began to cry. Bakugo had hoped that Deku would continue to be his rival and inspire him to work harder. Katsuki remembers every horrible thing he did to Izuku, to the point of crying, something very unusual for his personality.
This shocking moment reveals that Katsuki is ready to live in a world where his and Deku's roles are reversed. He will be the one who has difficulty using his Quirk, while Izuku becomes a strong hero admired by everyone. When the My Hero Academia series began, Bakugo would never have even thought of such a world.. This moment reflects how much Bakugo as well as Izuku have changed throughout the series.
If Bakugo can work hard to be forgiven for his actions, then other individuals who have acted similarly to him in the past should do the same.
Izuku doesn't seem to have any resentment towards Bakugo, but the young man will likely continue to try to earn the title of Deku's friend. Chapter #424 could be Horikoshi's reminder that the world of My Hero Academia will never be the same. The war changed everyone, some people liked Bakugo more than others. Katsuki is a perfect example of an ideal Hero Association. Pressing issues in the world of the series such as discrimination or prejudice need to be addressed. If Bakugo can work hard to be forgiven for his actions, then other individuals who have acted similarly to him in the past should do the same.
Like My Hero Academy The manga is about to end, Horikoshi will continue to depict the outstanding changes that the war against All For One brought to the world. Bakugo, Deku and the rest of their colleagues work hard to create a better future. Katsuki will become an example of how one can change and become better, no matter what one has done in the past.
