Summary
My Hero Academia chapter #426 concludes the Todoroki family story with an emotional visit to Dabi/Toya. Chapter #427 will be released on July 7, 2024, revealing Spinner's fate after the war. Spinner's guest in chapter #427 remains a mystery, promising more endings before the series ends.
My Hero Academia Chapter #426 finally brings the Todoroki family saga to a close, wrapping up one of the manga's best storylines. Revealing the fates of both Dabi and his father Endeavor, the chapter doesn't shy away from ending with Endeavor's salvation.
In contrast to the celebratory tone of My Hero Academia #425, chapter #426 is a much more somber affair, as the Todoroki family visits what's left of Dabi, presumably now known as Toya Todoroki. Barely clinging to life, Toya can only speak for a few minutes a day, and is far from being saved; the only question is when he will die, not if. The family has a lot to say to him, with Endeavor ready to listen to whatever his eldest son has to say. Here's how and when fans can read the next chapter as soon as the official translation is released.

My Hero Academia releases new chapters every Sunday. The same translations will be released on both services at the same time, so it's really a matter of preference. What is My Hero Academia Chapter 426 about?
Chap #426 Finally Seeing the End of the Todoroki Family Drama
The main focus of chapter #426 is the Todoroki family visiting Dabi/Toya, who is being kept in a special tank that somehow keeps the former villain alive despite his advanced state of decay. While each member of the family (except Natsuo) has something to say, the limited time he has left him unable to ask most of them. Shoto takes advantage of his moment to ask a question he's been pondering for a while: what's Toya's favorite food? Shoto's attempt to reach out and get to know his brother as a person is quite touching to Toya, even prompting him to apologize after they leave.
It seems that the Todoroki family will have to live with the consequences of their actions during the war for a long time, as each of them seems to have suffered some form of burn scars from trying to save Toya. Like the emotional scars they already carry, these scars will serve as a permanent reminder of how much this family has suffered. Endeavor makes it clear that he will retire from hero work, now unable to even stand on his own. Natsuo still wants nothing to do with Endeavor, and seems to plan on retiring the Todoroki name. Shoto is in the best position, still able to pursue his own hero dreams.
My Hero Academia Chap #427 Spinner Show Has Guests
Another villain seems to have survived the final battle.
Chapter #426 ends with the revelation that Spinner is still alive, seemingly lying in a hospital bed. In the final panel, Spinner hears the door open and looks to the side to see who could be visiting him. While it's impossible to say who is at the door at this point, there are a number of possibilities. It could be a heteromorph, here to show respect for what Spinner is supposedly trying to accomplish; it could also be the police, here to interrogate Spinner. There's even a small chance that it could be another surviving member of the League of Villains, like Mr. Compress, who was in prison during the last war.
No one knows exactly what chapter #427 will cover, but it’s likely that there will be more epilogues. There are a lot of ongoing plot threads that could be explored – for example, what happened to Kurogiri at the end? There’s also the mystery of the new character introduced at the end of chapter #425 to resolve. Who are they and what are they doing? With only four chapters left, there’s not much time to tie up loose ends, let alone introduce anyone new. My Hero Academia's final ending is approaching, so hopefully the series can wrap up some of these loose ends before then.
