Kodoani.com – Anime Expo 2024 Conference has brought an exciting announcement to fans of the dark fantasy manga “Bad Leaf” by Etorouji Shiono. On Friday, the event unveiled a new trailer for the television anime version of “Bad Leaf,” with English subtitles. The trailer revealed the new cast, key production team, and an expected winter 2025 release date.
Cast and Main Characters
One of the notable pieces of information from the trailer is the involvement of Hina Tachibana as Babyan important character in the story.
Yūya Hirose will play the main character Köinzella mysterious warrior with extraordinary strength and skills.
Production Team
The anime will be directed by Takashi Naoyawho has worked on popular anime series such as “Val x Love,” “Vermeil in Gold,” and “Am I Actually the Strongest?”This anime will be produced at two studios. Satelight and Staple Entertainment.
Tatsuya Takahashi (known through works such as “Val x Love” and “Gold Vermeil”) will take on the role of series creative supervisor.
Kiyoshi Tateishi (also from “Val x Love” and “Gold Vermeil”) will take on the role of character designer, bringing a vivid and realistic look to the characters in the dark world of “Bad hand.”
Plot
Pony Canyon describes the anime's story as follows:

Manga Publishing Process
“Bad Leaf” started being published in magazines Young Gangan by Square Enix in 2004. The manga quickly attracted a large fan base thanks to its dramatic plot and beautiful graphics.
In 2011, a spin-off manga titled “Evil Leaf Gaiden” was published on Young Gangan Biga subsection of Young GanganAfter a two-year hiatus, the main series is back in the magazine. Big Gangan in 2011. The 23rd and final compiled volume was published in Japan in June 2019.
Yen Press fully released “Bad Leaf” in English and is scheduled to release a 3-in-1 compiled book version of the manga this December.
