Ayumi Mano, Kaori Nazuka, Makoto Furukawa join cast for film premiering on October 9
Kodoani.com – On Monday, Kadokawa officially released a promotional video for the television anime adaptation of the novel The Do-Over Damsel Conquers the Dragon Emperor (Yarinaoshi Reijō wa Ryūtei Heika o Kōryaku-chū) by Sarasa Nagase. The anime promises to bring a lot of emotions with the participation of famous artists: the group sajou no hana performs the opening theme song “Awaku Kasuka” (roughly translated: Faintly Weak), and HaNaTan performs the ending theme song “Gradation.”
The production team also announced three new cast members, although their specific roles have yet to be revealed:

Under the direction of Kentaro Suzuki (Requiem of the Rose King, Angels of Death), an anime series produced by JC Staff. Atsuo Ishino takes on script supervision, while Sana Komatsu in charge of character design, bringing the audience beautiful and vivid images.

Cross Infinite World, the English publisher of the novel, introduces the story as follows:

The series was originally published by Sarasa Nagase on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in November 2019 and is currently ongoing. Kadokawa began publishing an illustrated print version of the Mitsuya Fuji from March 2020.
In addition, the series has also been adapted into a manga by Anko Yuzu in Kadokawa's Comp Ace magazine since July 2020. Yen Press has announced that it will release an English translation of the manga.
