Kodoani.com – The light novel series Romelia Senki: Maō o Taoshita Ato mo Jinrui Yabasō Dakara Guntai Soshiki Shita (A History of the Romelia: Even After Defeating the Demon King, Humanity Seemed to Be in Trouble so We Organized an Army) by author Ryō Ariyama will officially be adapted into an anime, according to the announcement from the X account (formerly Twitter) of Mag Garden's Mag Comi platform.
To celebrate the announcement, the platform is giving away five signed copies of the latest volumes from both the light novel series and its manga adaptation, with illustrations by Ryō Kamito. The series currently has over 400,000 copies in circulation.
Romelia Senki revolves around Countess Romelia, who was rejected by Prince Henri – her fiancé – shortly after she defeated the Demon King. Rejected but undaunted, Romelia returns to her homeland and uses her mysterious power to destroy the remnants of the Demon Army and revive her hometown.
Ariyama's original novel series began as a web novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2019, and was later officially published under Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint. Kamito's manga adaptation debuted on the Mag Comi platform in January 2022.
