Kodoani.com – The official X account of the Berserk series posted a statement from the publisher Hakusensha Inc. on Wednesday, announced that the animation project Berserk for fans by Studio Eclypse done without the permission of the copyright owner, including Kentaro Miura and Studio Gaga. In October 2023, Studio Eclypse announced the start of production on a fan-made animated film titled BERSERK: The Black Swordsman, stating that the project will adapt parts of the story that have not been fully portrayed in previous media. They released a Japanese dubbed trailer in May 2024, and an English dubbed version in July, with the first episode scheduled to be released in summer 2025. The trailer has garnered over 2 million views, accompanied by a comparison video between scenes from the trailer and the original Berserk manga.
