Main author of the show Ryota Yamaguchi writes novel on September 17
Kodoani.com – Kodansha has just announced that it will publish a sequel novel for the anime Dokidoki! Precuremarking 10 years since the series' final episode. The novel will be written by Ryota Yamaguchithe main writer of the original anime, and the cover will be by Akira Takahashioriginal character designer, illustrations. The novel will be released on September 17, 2024marking a milestone following the anime series' 10th anniversary which ended in January 2014.
Initial information about the novel also revealed the appearance of new Precure characters, including a silhouette of a new character that has not yet been revealed. The anime Dokidoki! Precurewith a total of 49 episodes, aired from 2013-2014 and is the 10th installment in the series. Precurecontinuing the success of Smile Precure!.
In the West, Dokidoki! Precure has been localized and released under the name Glitter Force Doc Doc on Netflix in August 2017, with the second season premiering in November of the same year. Although this localization originally belonged to Saban Brandstrademark Glitter Force has been transferred Toei Animation in May 2017, before the trademark rights were transferred to Hasbro in June 2018.
Toei Animation has also released the series Precure other in English under their original names, including both old and new series, starting with Healin’ Good Pretty Cure from 2020.
