Dandadan's Art & Animation is looking to be one of Saru's best works on science
Anime series by Science Saru; Based on the Manga by Yukinobu Tatsu
If there's anything the new Dandadan trailer emphasizes, it's how amazing the visuals will be. The original manga is famous for its vivid fight choreography and highly detailed illustrations, and to be sure, TasteThe manga's new trailer shows that the manga's style is being perfectly recreated in animation through a combination of creativity and art as well as great animation in general. All that's needed now is promotional material, but Dandadan is poised to be one of the best-looking Science Saru creations in years, if not the best.
The biggest testament to Dandadan's quality stems from the way GKIDS, Dandadan's English distributor, handles the series. In a separate announcement from the reveal of the new trailer, GKIDS announced that the first three volumes of Taste will hit theaters on September 13, one month before its television premiere, and the release will feature a special interview with author Yukinobu Tatsu, Tatsu editor Shihei Lin, and the series' cast and crew. GKIDS is placing a lot of faith in the success of Dandadan and as of now, there is no reason why it cannot come true.
Dandadan's new trailer hints at the length of the Anime
Another notable point from the new Dandadan trailer is that it hints a lot about the length of the anime. With the latest trailer revealing that Jiji will appear in the anime, it makes sense the Taste The anime will cover the first seven volumes of the mangaas that would complete the Evil Eye arc where Jiji was introduced. Ideally, that would be done through a two-part series, and if the execution lives up to what was shown in the trailer, then Taste will go down as a perfect anime continuation Chainsaw manlegacy of, and then some.
