Popular footwear brand Crocs has released a new pair of Gundam-inspired shoes, recreating the most iconic robot from one of the most iconic robot anime series: RX-78-2. The shoes were displayed at Anime Expo 2024 at The Gundam Base.
The new and exclusive Gundam collaboration with Crocs has been revealed in a Slate Grey colorway on the company's official website. The clogs, which retail for $74.99, feature clear nods to the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam with its blue, yellow, and red colors, as well as the RX-78-2's face, shield, and more sold through Crocs' custom Jibbitz accessories. The RX-78-2 is piloted by the first series' protagonist, Amuro Ray. You can check out images of the Gundam All Terrain Clog below.

The Clogs are available in women’s sizes 6-12 and men’s sizes 4-17 (sizes 14-17 are sold out at the time of writing). The Clogs All Terrain are described as being suitable for the harshest environments, lightweight, practical, and equipped with vents for breathability and drainage.

Crocs has been a frequent partner for popular anime series. In addition to Gundam, Crocs has collaborated with Naruto on two product lines, following up on the Naruto and Kakashi versions with Sasuke, Itachi, Jiraiya, and Minato clogs. Fans will remember the Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen clogs from last year. Meanwhile, Japanese IP Hello Kitty received two new sets this year, celebrating her 50th anniversary.
