But Frieza's voice has gone through many iterations over the years.
Linda Young voices the beloved villain in Dragon Ball Z's run, but the voice was eventually played back. Now, the official English voice actor for Frieza is played by Daman Mills. The two met at a Comic-Con and recorded a stellar video of the actors in character that Daman Mills shared on his X account.
If Frieza encountered a clone of himself, he would likely have a similar conversation as Linda and Daman acted out in the video. Each of Frieza's voices declared that they were the rulers of the universe, and as the tension continued to rise, it eventually broke with the idea that they could rule the universe together. The video ends with the two sharing Frieza's crazy laugh and melting fans' hearts.
Many great talents brought Frieza to British audiences
Frieza's has been voiced by four different actors since it was first dubbed into English in 1996.
Many longtime anime fans grew up watching Dragon Ball Z after school, starring the talented Linda Young as Frieza. Audiences who enjoy Toonami's English dub may also recognize her role as Genkai in Yu Yu Hakusho. But when the remake and re-edit Dragon Ball Z Kai anime was released, the role of the beloved villain went to another great actor named Christopher Ayres. He demonstrated another respectable version of Frieza's voice until his tragic death.
After working as assistant to Christopher Ayres, Daman Mills becomes the current English voice for Frieza Nearing the end of the Dragon Ball Super anime series. His tenure as Frieza was also a top-notch representation of the character with some memorable performances in the conclusion of the Tournament of Power, as well as in the fan favorite Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Without revealing too much, fans will likely hear more about Daman taking on the iconic villain role when the Dragon Ball Super anime inevitably returns.

Even after Frieza was defeated by Super Saiyan Goku on Namek and again by Future Trunks on Earth, he didn't get much time to shine in the series outside of a few filler episodes and the Dragon Ball movies Z is not official. However, the character is so popular that Dragon Ball Super brought him back from the afterlife on two separate occasions. The cosmic tyrant has lived many lives and has many voices. However, hearing two versions of Frieza's voice share light banter isn't something to behold. Dragon ball fans experience every day.
