Latest upgrade for clown is the best work he's had in years, and it absolutely needs to be incorporated into canon in the future. DC's latest venture into anime has finally arrived with the first three episodes of Suicide Squad: Isekai, which debuted on Max. It's a great introduction to a fantastic new fantasy world for the Squad to explore. However, The best addition to the series came before Harley and the others were teleported. in a Joker crime.
The first episode of Suicide Squad: Isekai begins with Harley Quinn and Joker tearing Gotham apart in a major crime spree. From buying coffee to killing hostages, it’s a chaotic night for the infamous duo. What’s notable about the scene, however, is Joker’s latest set of wheels. His bike is a classic design with a purple paint job, which is a common feature of his vehicles. The coolest feature, however, is that his steering wheel is gone, replaced by a giant piano that he plays to steer the vehicle.
This is a super cool addition to the Joker's arsenal, but what's even better is that it perfectly captures the character.
Joker's Latest Car Shows the Chaos of His Criminal Career
He puts his life in the hands of playing the right note.
The Joker is known for his signature brand of insanity, making him the perfect antagonist for Batman. Whatever he does, there needs to be some sort of chaotic twist to match his idea of a very violent joke. With this in mind, his car design in Isekai perfectly encapsulates his personality in one awesome twist. By removing the steering wheel and replacing it with a piano, Joker is putting his life and Harley's in the hands of his musical talent. Just one wrong note could send them spiraling off course, so he needed to make sure he never played out of tune.
“It's not only a unique design choice; it's also a great symbol for the Joker.”
However, even with this dangerous new addition, it also represents the Joker's view of the world. To him, chaos is a beautiful thing that needs to be released in a world of law and order, even if he is dead. Otherwise, life, for him, would be incredibly boring. By releasing this through a concert driving his car, it is the perfect blend of beautiful chaos that fuels his character. It is not only a unique design choice; it is also a great symbol for the Joker.
Joker's New Car Outshines His Craziest Car in the Comics
The original Jokermobile is nothing compared to Isekai's new car
What's interesting about the Joker's new car is how it somehow manages to surpass the silliness of the Joker's original car. First introduced in 1946, the Jokermobile is the Joker's vehicle of choice when speeding through Gotham and causing chaos. Inspired by the darker, more sophisticated design of the Batmobile, The Jokermobile is the complete opposite as it is actually a giant version of the villain's head hollowed out so he can see where he is driving. It's funny and has become iconic to his character. However, the inclusion of a piano steering wheel is so clever and iconic to who the Joker is that it overshadows the silliness of the giant head his car used to have.
All in all, it would be interesting to see this design choice implemented into an official DC comic in the future. It's a great artistic decision that not only fits the villain's aesthetic, but also serves as a great symbol for his character. The piano car is a change acts as a great upgrade forclownpaving the way for an exciting future of his adventures in upcoming stories.
