The anime debuted with a re-edited theatrical version on January 17

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- is a re-edited version of several anime episodes and will be released for the first time in theaters on January 17. The film will be released at 426 theatersinclude 52 IMAX theaters.
Main plot
The story follows Amate Yuzurihaa high school girl living peacefully in a space colony. Her life changed when they met Reallya war refugee. Amate is drawn into the underworld of an illegal dueling sport called Clan Battle.
Under the name “Machu”, she has to fight every day by controlling GQuuuuuuX. One day, a mysterious Gundam suit came along with the pilot Shuji appears, chased by both the space force and the police, leading to dramatic circumstances.
