Kodoani.com – This year's 33rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine revealed on Thursday that the manga Shadows House by manga author duo so-ma-to entered its final arc after finishing its 200th chapter. The manga will also be on hiatus due to author So-ma-to's illness and will resume in issue 38 of the magazine on August 22.
Yen Press will release the manga in English and describes the plot as follows:
Deep within a gloomy mansion lives a mysterious group of nobles known as… the Shadow family. With no notable features, these mysterious nobles use living dolls to act as their “faces.” Kate and Emilico are such a pair of lovers and servants, living in their own little world and learning from each other little by little with each new day. But in a house with closed doors, living by rules of unknown origin—how long can their peaceful and happy life really last…?
Manga series Shadows House debuted in Weekly Young Jump magazine in September 2018. Shueisha published the 17th volume of the manga on May 17. Yen Press published the sixth volume on March 19.
The manga inspired a television anime series that premiered in Japan in April 2021. The second season of the anime premiered in July 2022.
