Manga adaptation of Atsushi Kagurazaka's novel launches in 2022
Kodoani.com – Magazine Monthly Shōnen Champion belong to Akita Shoten The December issue published the manga's final chapter Kinshiro no Tsuma Desu ga (I am Kinshiro's Wife) on Wednesday. The series is adapted from the novel of the same name by Atsushi Kagurazaka and do Misaki Sako illustration. The fifth and final volume of the manga is scheduled to be released on January 8.
Story Content
Set in the Edo period, Kinshiro no Tsuma Desu ga is a detective story revolving around Yesa sheltered girl, the child of a powerful samurai. Unexpectedly, Kei received an order from his father to get married Toyama Kinshiroa former samurai who has now become a famous playboy. During their life together, Kei realized that Kinshiro was loved and trusted by the people in the town. However, when a murder occurs and Kinshiro's friend is suspected, Kei and Kinshiro must face unpredictable mysteries.
Publishing Journey
Misaki Sako launched the manga in the magazine Monthly Shōnen Champion in March 2022, and Akita Shoten published the first manga volume in October 2022. The fifth volume, concluding the story, will be released in early 2024.
About Author Misaki Sako
In addition to Kinshiro no Tsuma Desu ga, Misaki Sako is also famous for the manga adaptation of the light novel Rikan Kōkoku Hikikomori Zuichō Hiden: Hibi Kōkyū o Nukedashi, Yūnō Kanri Yattemasu which debuted on Akita Shoten's Manga Cross in November 2022. The second volume The second manga series was released on October 14. Sako was also one of the original character designers for the Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru anime.
