The 2024 Jump Victory Carnival will feature Dragon Ball, Bleach, One Piece and more
Fans attending the Jump Victory Carnival (JVC), taking place on July 21, 2024, in Chiba City (just outside Tokyo), will receive a Dragon Ball Daima table mat along with many other merchandise, some of them are shown above. These include the One Piece Special Giant Pizza Picnic Cover and table mat, a fan from Mission: Yozakura Family, My Hero Academia stickers, playing cards, postcards and more. Other attractions at JVC this year will include important Jump announcements, photo spots, a free physical manga library to browse, famous artist autograph sessions, and of course, plenty of cosplay scenes .
While the new Dragon Ball Daima artwork has garnered some excitement, many fans on social media have also criticized Toei Animation for its lack of promotion for the upcoming series. Daima received a poster last month depicting Goku in a similar pose that fans have seen many times. The text box for the Dragon Ball Daima logo was also seen, raising concerns about quality assurance. However, the franchise has generally received promotion through a nationwide Dragon Ball Sushi collaboration in the US and an upcoming theme park in Saudi Arabia. Dragon Ball theme park developer Falcon's Creative Group released the first behind-the-scenes footage of the park's design in May.
