Kodoani.com – The “LycoReco Produce Okinawa Event Commemorative Stream” event brought a lot of interesting information to fans with the reveal of the title, production team and official images for the upcoming short anime project Lycoris Recoil: Friends are thieves of time. The series consists of six episodes, focusing on daily life at a cafe LycoReco Coffeewhere favorite characters will return in colorful stories.

The short film will revolve around the daily lives of the characters at LycoReco Coffeewhere they perform tasks ranging from making coffee, babysitting, shopping, to teaching Japanese to international students. The small stories will highlight the close relationship between Chisato Nishikigi – Lycoris's best spy, and Takina Inoue – a calm but no less talented teammate.
About the Lycoris Recoil series:
Launched in July 2022, the anime quickly attracted attention thanks to its unique content and attractive characters. The work marks a first Shingo Adachi taking on the role of director, before that he was famous for his role as a character designer Sword Art Online. Anime produced by A-1 Pictures and has the participation of many famous names such as Imagimuru (character design) and Asaura (plot outline).
Crunchyroll aired the film with an English dub, and the series continued to premiere on Adult Swim's Toonami in January 2023.
