The superhero movie genre in the last months of 2024 will be Sony Pictures' own “playground”, when they release 2 film projects, including Kraven the Hunter and Venom: The Last Dance (Venom 3). Of which, the sequel for Eddie Brock/Venom is receiving the most attention, because this is considered the last solo film revolving around this beloved anti-hero character.
Recently, Sony released the next trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, revealing more eye-catching action scenes and some details related to the main plot, including the identity of the central villain.
The latest trailer for Venom: The Last Dance reveals that Knull will be the main villain of this blockbuster – Video: Sony Pictures.
Venom: The Last Dance puts Venom and Eddie in a precarious situation when they are hunted by two different forces: the Earth army and creatures from Venom's home world in the distant space. The trailer above also reveals that the villain of the film is the evil god Knull – the “father” of Venom as well as other cosmic parasites. The Eddie/Venom couple possesses something precious that Knull needs, which is why he sends many ferocious monsters to Earth to hunt them down.
In addition, despite Sony being extremely secretive about the script of Venom: The Last Dance, some information suggests that Venom will sacrifice himself in the battle with Knull to close out his trilogy. Some details in the final segment of the latest trailer also seem to contribute to confirming this information, with details related to the symbiotic relationship between Eddie and Venom that will destroy the world, or Eddie being forced to make the decision to sacrifice like “the inevitable in the life of any man”.

Tom Hardy will reprise his role as Eddie Brock in the upcoming blockbuster, which also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham. The film is directed by Kelly Marcel, who also co-wrote the script with Tom Hardy.
Venom: The Last Dance will premiere on October 25.
