Ishikawa said on Twitter that he is fine after the surgery
Kodoani.com – Voice actor agency Stay Luck announced on June 16 that Kaito Ishikawa, known for voicing Tobio Kageyama in Haikyu!! and Tenya Iida in My Hero Academia, is expected to gradually resume work from around June 24, taking into account the condition of his throat. As previously reported, Ishikawa underwent surgery for vocal cord polyps at the end of May and has been off for about a month since then.
Ishikawa announced on his official Twitter on June 3 that he has been discharged, saying “Very good progress.” He wrote on Twitter again yesterday, “Slowly but surely, progress is very good and I will be back to work on the 24th!!”
Although it is gradual, the progress is good, so I will return to work from the 24th! ! https://t.co/ejoYPUV474
