In Hunter x Hunter author Yoshihiro Togashi's latest Twitter post, he revealed that chapter 403 is complete. Chapter 401 was completed last March and the status of chapter 403 has not been shared before.
With chapter 403 completed, it can be assumed that chapter 402 is also completed. Additionally, volume 38 is scheduled to release on September 4, 2024.
Hunter x Hunter is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi. The series has been serialized in Shueisha's shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 1998, although the series has been on hiatus for extended periods since 2006. As of November 2022, the chapters have been collected into 37 tankōbon volumes.

The first series was adapted into an anime by Nippon Animation, which aired for 62 episodes on Fuji Television from October 1999 to March 2001, but stopped before reaching the York New City arc. A reboot by Madhouse aired from October 2011 to September 2014, for a total of 148 episodes, and included two theatrical animated films released in 2013. This reboot covers the story from season 1 to the Zodiac Election arc.
