The finale of Oshi no Ko brings the long-running plot of Ai's murder to a close. There are many mysteries surrounding the tragic death, some of which are finally revealed. As the story progresses, we learn about Hikaru Kamiki's role in the incident.
However, Chapter 155 took a major turn by revealing Hikaru's salvation and introducing Nino as the ultimate villain of the series. But thanks to Nino's plan to kill Ruby, we finally learned that Hikaru was the real mastermind behind both incidents.
In Chapter 160, Hikaru revealed his true nature, leading Aqua down a dark path. But will the young man really follow that path? That's what we'll find out in Oshi no Ko Chapter 161.
Oshi no Ko Chapter 161 Release Date
Oshi no Ko will be on hiatus next week, so Oshi no Ko Chapter 161 will be released on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 7 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) in the United States.

Speculation about the spoilers of Oshi no Ko Chapter 161
At the end of the previous Chapter, we saw Aqua ready to stab her father to death. He thought it was a necessary step to protect Ruby and end the man's cycle of hatred once and for all. However, if he actually did it, it would change him forever for the worse.
So, it is possible that Oshi no Ko Chapter 161 somehow prevent Aqua from killing Hikaru. Maybe the older man will manipulate his way out of this or Aqua will stop herself. It's also possible that this is just a psychological game by the younger man to trick Hikaru into confessing.
No matter how the scenario ends, we can almost be sure that Aqua will not kill her father in the Oshi no Ko Chapter 161. Since there is still a large part of the story left to tell, the main plot won't be resolved so soon.
Hikaru will probably survive and Aqua will continue to try to bring the man to justice. He will probably try to go the legal route for Ruby's sake. Akane will definitely help him on that front. However, whether or not Kana will be included in this storyline is unclear at this point.
