Kodoani.com – Magazine Weekly Shonen Jump numbers 36 and 37 of Shueisha published the final chapter of the manga series My Hero Academia belong to Kōhei Horikoshi on Monday. The publisher also announced that the series will get its final fanbook in January, its first art book in April, and a new large-scale art exhibition in the summer of 2025 to celebrate the completion of the decade-long series. The final volume will be published in December.
The anime's official X (formerly Twitter) account shared an image celebrating the series' completion.
Horikoshi launched the manga on Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014. Viz Media publishes English-language manga in digital and print formats in North America. Services MANGA Plus Shueisha also publishes the manga in English digitally. The manga surpassed 100 million copies in circulation worldwide in April.
The manga has inspired six television anime seasons and several anime specials. The seventh season premiered on April 6 with a special episode. My Hero Academia Memories The seventh season's main anime (starting with episode 139 of the entire anime) then premiered on May 4.
The manga has also inspired three animated films. The fourth animated film is titled My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: You’re Nextwhich debuted on August 2. Horikoshi once again served as general supervisor and original character designer.
