The latest movie from Studio Ghibli off-shot will be released on December 15th in Japan

Today, the first trailer of the film led by director Yoshiyuki Momose was officially released, giving audiences a first look at the world of the film as well as announcing the main cast.

The film was originally slated to premiere in the summer of 2022, but was later postponed to winter 2023, and the official release date has been confirmed as December 15 in Japan. The film will be released worldwide in 2024.
Yoshiyuki Momose, a well-known character in the animation industry, especially for his role as animator for many Studio Ghibli works such as Only Yesterday, Pom Poko, Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away, has taken over as director for the film.
