Meanwhile, Oran and Oba gather at the batting cages with Makoto and Dark Knight, and when the topic of the invaders comes up, Oba reveals that the invaders are the native inhabitants of Earth and are trying to retake it.. Oran did not understand what he was saying, Oba replied that Oran was too kind to the invaders.
Later, as the Japanese government continues to fortify Ocean Stadium, Oba comes across an invader being attacked by Kohiruimaki and the Youth United Front. Oba saves the invader by having Kohiruimaki steal his invisibility cloak, and the invader reveals to Oba that A group of human-hating invaders planned to crash the mothership and pollute the world with F energy.This was shown in the opening of Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction. The invader that Oba saved died after conveying that information, and Oba wondered what he could do to help.
The Occult Research Club later goes on vacation to the same place where Kadode and Oran had their study camp and learn that Isobeyan, the alien they befriended, was held captive for several days before disappearing. Oba tells Ojiro that Isobeyan is an investigator sent to Earth to confirm that humans may be used as slave labor.but Oba is unable to comment on anything else. Later, when Oran and Oba discover an abandoned spaceship on shore, Oba expresses his conflicted loyalties to Oran, but after Oran kisses Oba, the episode ends on a calm note.
