For the first time in nearly two years, Yoshihiro Togashi's popular action-adventure manga, Hunter x Hunter, will return to Weekly Shonen Jump.
According to Shonen Jump's Jump Press chapter, Hunter x Hunter was revealed to be returning in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 45, scheduled to release on October 7, 2024. This marks Togashi's first return to publishing since going on hiatus in December 2022.

Hunter X Hunter creator Yoshihiro Togashi revealed his crossover-style work at the Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary Super Gallery Event.
This was followed by the announcement that Hunter x Hunter would be getting its first new volume since 2022, which would include 208 pages of previously released chapters. The past few months have been one of Togashi's most active periods since his last break; he shared that he had finished Chapter 402 at the end of July, followed shortly by the announcement that Chapter 403 was finished in just 24 hours.
VIZ licensed Hunter x Hunter in North America, with the series available to read on MANGA Plus and the Shonen Jump app. The first volume is officially described: “Gon may be a country boy, but he has big ambitions. Despite his aunt Mito's objections, Gon decides to follow in his father's footsteps and become a legendary Hunter. The Hunter hopefuls begin their journey aboard a storm-tossed ship, where Gon meets Leorio and Kurapika, the only candidates not ravaged by seasickness. Having survived the horrors of the sea, Gon and his companions must now prove their worth in various tests to find the elusive Examination Chamber. And once they get there, will they ever return alive…?”
