Kodoani.com – TOHO animation has started posting opening credits for its second anime season The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto), an anime series based on the light novel series of the same name by Natsu Hyūga and Touko Shino. Opening song, “Hyakkaryōran” (Splendid Bounty), presented by Lilac City—the song marks Ikuta's first time singing for a television anime in her solo career. (Ikuta is also known as the lead singer of the group YOASOBI under the stage name ikura).
Information about the second season:
Showtime: This season will be released on Friday at 11:00 p.m. JST (9:00 a.m. EST) on Nippon TV's FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT programming block. The anime will air in two consecutive courses (first quarter of the year).
Crunchyroll is streaming its second season, following the first season.
New background music: New ending song: “Shiawase no Recipe” (Formula for Happiness) by singer-songwriter Dai Hirai present. The energetic opening with Lilas Ikuta's voice is expected to create more powerful appeal.
Anime exhibition: A special exhibition will be held at THE PROBLEMS from date March 26 to April 14 to commemorate this anime series.

Content summary:
Anime about Maomaoan intelligent and sophisticated girl in medicine, is kidnapped and sold to work in the hougong (emperor's back palace). Although she looked like an ordinary palace maid on the outside, Maomao's extensive knowledge and sharp mind attracted the attention of Genderthe head eunuch.
