Kodoani.com – The magazine's official X (Twitter) account Monthly Asuka from Kadokawa has revealed that Yukiru Sugisakiauthor of D.N.Angelis preparing to launch a new project. Details will be revealed in the November issue of the magazine, scheduled to be released on September 24.
DNAngel, one of Sugisaki's most famous works, was first released on Monthly Asuka in 1997. After a long hiatus from 2005 to 2008, the series resumed publication but did not end until January 2021. Kadokawa released the 20th and final volume of the manga in June 2021. In North America, Tokyopop released the first 13 volumes of the manga.
DNAngel's content revolves around a 14-year-old boy. Daisuke Niwawho has the ability to transform into the legendary phantom thief Dark Mousy every time he thinks of the girl he loves. The manga was adapted into an anime by Xebec Studio in 2003, and the anime was released in North America by AD Vision and Media Discoteca.
Sugisaki's fans are eagerly awaiting her new project after the success of DNAngel.
