This was demonstrated in the Battle of Platea and the Battle of Thermopylae. The flashback ends and we see this match continue. The Spartans were angry that Apollo was looking down on them.
Even the gods were angry at Apollo’s stupid decision to play with Leonidas. Ares thinks Apollo was a clown, but Zeus explains that Apollo has been like that for a long time.
He also said this is the source of his strength and the reason he became invincible. Zeus repeatedly praised him and asked them to see his strongest and highest fighting mode.
Hermes says that Apollo hasn’t shined as much since Gigantomachia. Goll is also angry about this, but Brunhilde reassures her that Geirolul will not tolerate this humiliation.
Geirolul is also very angry and Leonidas says he will bring Apollo to his knees. Leonidas’ weapon now turns into a hammer and he has a confident look. He attacks with his Phalanx Nemesis God Breaking Hammer, which also destroys the arena.
But Apollo avoids this and punches Leonidas. He hit hard again and aimed for Leonidas’ stomach. Leonidas tried to attack but Apollo’s kick counterattacked.

When Leonidas fell, Apollo used a rope to strengthen his arm and hit Leonidas directly. Leonidas passes out and Brunhilde says that this is where the Spartans shine.
Leonidas used Apollo’s threads against himself and pulled Apollo head-butting him. When Apollo’s ability to hold the thread weakened, he used his hammer to deliver a direct blow to Apollo.
Apollo was flown over the arena and landed on his knees.
Record of Ragnarok Chap 82 Spoiler
This must be a deadly attack by Leonidas, and Apollo will take considerable damage. This chapter is just a prologue showing Leonidas’ power and Geirolul’s abilities.
It seems that Geirolul also has the same ability as Apollo’s thread and can transform into any weapon the user wants. Leonidas now has a huge advantage when he can focus on both attack and defense.
But Leonidas was also badly hurt by Apollo’s punches in the last few chapters. Apollo will probably change his stance now and stop joking around. We can find out his backstory in the next Chapter about him becoming a God.
We can also see his threads form his signature Silver bow weapon. This type of weapon will give him more advantage in long-range battles and Apollo can focus on strengthening his armor.
Record of Ragnarok Chapter 82 Release Date
This is just a fan translation Record of Ragnarok and Chapter 81 will be officially released on September 13 or 14. Unofficial translation of Record of Ragnarok Chapter 82 will be released around September 27th if there is no time off.
Raw scans and spoilers will be released on September 25th. The fight has become more and more interesting since Leonidas avenged his humiliation. We have to wait until the 25th to see Apollo’s response to Leonidas’ attacks.
